Quest Tattoo Studio

Design and development of a website for a tattoo studio, with a focus on aesthetics, customization, and customer experience.

🖌️ Quest Tattoo Studio: design with personality

One of my most interesting projects has been developing the website for Quest Tattoo Studio. From the start, it was clear this wouldn’t be just another corporate page: it had to reflect the studio’s artistic and personal aesthetic, build trust with clients, and at the same time offer a simple, clear navigation experience.

🎨 Identity‑driven design

The main challenge was translating the studio’s essence to the web. The aesthetic needed to be dark, elegant, and visual, giving full prominence to the tattoo images. The design I proposed was built as a digital showcase, where every detail (typography, color palette, visual hierarchy) helps reinforce the brand’s identity.

🛠️ Technologies and development

The site is built with a modern and flexible stack, combining performance, customization, and ease of management. Key decisions include:

  • Astro as the base framework, leveraging its speed and optimization for static sites.
  • Tailwind CSS for fast, fully custom design.
  • Custom content blocks allowing the client to manage content without losing visual consistency.
  • Integration of key pages: work gallery, studio information, and direct contact.

🚀 A website designed for real clients

Beyond aesthetics, the goal was to build a site that works as a real tool to attract and retain clients. The gallery became the heart of the site, clearly and accessibly showcasing the studio’s style, while the contact sections allow users to go from inspiration to action immediately.

📈 What I learned from this project

  • How to adapt web design to a brand with a strong artistic identity.
  • The balance between creativity and usability, especially in image‑driven sectors.
  • The importance of giving the client a system that’s easy to maintain without compromising aesthetics.

Quest Tattoo Studio is not just a website; it’s an example of how frontend development can become a bridge between a brand’s identity and the experience of its customers in the digital space.
